I have been reading a lot about narcissistic personality disorder lately. Diagnoses of mental illnesses are generally given to individuals of course, but I was literally shocked how many traits of this mental illness fit the NBM just perfectly. It is glaringly obvious that the NBM – as a group – exhibits most traits of a serious mental disorder. So let’s have a look at this.
Narcissistic personality disorder is defined by the following criteria
- Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
- Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
- Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
- Requires excessive admiration
- Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
- Is exploitative of others, e.g., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
- Lacks empathy, e.g., is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
- Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
- Regularly shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
Generally speaking, a narcissist has a false self, an idealized image of himself. The narcissist cannot tolerate that this false self is questioned or criticized in any way. Deep inside, the narcissist knows that he behaves like an asshole, and he also knows what the right way to behave would be. But the narcissist won’t do the right thing because he simply doesn’t care enough about others to give a flying fuck (lack of empathy). Furthermore, the narcissist has the emotional maturity of a toddler, so he will also refuse to do the right thing out of defiance. In addition to this, the narcissist gets a certain pleasure out of manipulating, controlling and tormenting people. The ability to do so gives the sick narcissist the confirmation of being superior at all times. Because the narcissist is not at all what he claims to be but needs the world to believe in his false self, the narcissist lies, lies, lies, and lies more. The narcissist lies directly, lies by omission, lies in every other way possible. And if you don’t believe the lies, the narcissist will “gaslight” you. This means he will make you question your own perception and sanity through all sorts of manipulations. He will deny, minimize, blame-shift and so on. Everything a narcissist says or does is a trick of smoke and mirrors – a narcissistic ploy – intended to distract from the reality of what he’s really up to.
Like – as an example – a guy who claims to be against prostitution and a faithful husband while going to whores regularly. You might notice that he recognizes a whore from a mile away and seems to know just a little too much. You might notice that he interprets generous tissue supplies at a hotel as a sign that the hotel is in fact a brothel. But why would he know this if he hadn’t been a customer of a brothel before? If you confront such an individual, YOU will suddenly be under attack. As long as possible, he will try to convince others (and perhaps himself) that he is who he claims to be, a moral and honest person. When doubted, he will throw tantrums and deny everything, and make the accuser feel insane for even raising doubts about his morality. When there is too much evidence for outright denial, the narcissist will use all sorts of distraction and manipulation. For example he will blame the other for “making him do it” (blame-shifting), or he will minimize by claiming that he “only went to whores for blowjobs” and ridicule the other for being so sensitive about it (gaslighting), or he will simply distract or change the topic to take the focus off his own wrongdoing. Never ever will he admit and take responsibility for his faults.
So how does all this apply to the NBM?
The assmen definitely have a false self when it comes to their claims about being a benign “movement”. No, they are definitely not. But they continue to claim so regardless of how much evidence there is of the contrary. And that’s not enough. Not only do they claim to be a “movement”, no, they claim to be a “GLORIOUS” movement and “GLORIOUS” assmen. A grandiose sense of self-importance indeed. It doesn’t matter one bit that nothing that the NBM and its members have ever done could be called “glorious”. To them, being a member of this confraternity makes them “glorious” by default. The reality is that NBM is everything but glorious. Uncounted people have lost their lives because of the endlessly killing NBM, uncounted people have lost their fortune and existence because of the endlessly scamming NBM. That doesn’t matter though. They have no empathy for their victims and the assmen still claim that they are GLORIOUS freedom fighters. If you question them about whos freedom they are fighting for and with which methods, there will be no answer. They don’t think that far. All they need to know is that they are GLORIOUS by default because they are assmen.
When questioned about their killing and scamming, they use the typical narcissistic methods. They lie, deny, minimize, and blame-shift. First of all, they deny that NBM is Black Axe. It doesn’t matter that everybody knows and that there is a truckload of evidence of the contrary – they still deny it. At times, an assman might admit that there have been problems with killings etc. But unfailingly, they will emphasize that it only occurred because they were “provoked” by other cultists and because there are a few bad eggs (minimizing, blame-shifting, playing victim). It definitely never ever was their fault. NEVER. Of course they also distract and take the focus off themselves by pointing fingers elsewhere and emphasize that “they are not the only ones who kill and scam” (minimizing, distracting). Most frequently they will say nothing at all about the accusations, but instead they will shoot the messenger by questioning his motivation and identity without saying anything about the topic at hand (distraction, blame-shifting).
Of course the assmen also exhibit a huge sense of entitlement. When assmen enter a bar, anyone who is sat on a chair is intimidated into leaving. After all, the “glorious” assmen are there! They have no shame to deceive and exploit their various host countries around the world either. It’s not as if the common “glorious” assman were a humble and hardworking individual seeking a better life abroad. No. The common assman manages to sneak into a country through shady channels only to use his luck to further the scamming, drug trade, forced prostitution and violence in the host country. Needless to say that they also shamelessly exploit individual people around them in various ways such as forcing them into prostitution, stealing their life savings, deceiving them into marriage under false pretense etc. All because they feel entitled in every way. Whenever they get caught there are invariably pissed off rants about how one assman does not represent all assmen and how unfairly the poor assmen are treated. Needless to say that they are also shameless enough to question and attack the Canadian police force, for example. They definitely must be totally incapable and foolish to accuse the assmen of what they are guilty of. Their sense of entitlement is so enormous that they even feel entitled to impunity.
